Traditional Mexican recipes

There is very little resemblance between the Mexican food prepared in Mexico and Mexican recipes that are prepared in US. Mexico is a vast country so there is a great regional difference between food served in Veracruz and Yucatan.
Mole sauce is more included in traditional Mexican recipes found in the Puebla area. This mole sauce is prepared from a spicy, thick and herbal sauce containing chocolate. It is used for pouring over chicken or turkey. Typical Oaxaca coffee is prepared by adding bananas to the mole sauce. Oranges are used for preparing sauces for meat and fish. Rather, in this area, food is served in a banana leaf. Mostly seafood and fish are served for lunch and dinner in Veracruz. Here in this region, fish filled taco is served with chilies, olives and tomatoes.
Mexican food offers something for everybody whether you prefer meat, poultry, fish, or vegetarian food. Wide range of Mexican recipes is offered to the food lovers to eat according to their taste and style. Different Mexican spices are used add unique taste to the recipes. Bell peppers or mild chili peppers can be used to prepare a mild-spicy food. Mexican spices are also greatly beneficial for the health as they offer certain protection against the different diseases. On the whole, Mexican food offers wide range of recipes and unique taste for the food lovers.
