Tasty Mexican spices

Mexican spices are essential part of all the Mexican recipes. Garlic is quite common spice but Epazote is rather uncommon spice. Epazote also referred as ‘Mexican Tea’ adds flavor of beans to the food. It is useful against intestinal pains caused due to overindulgence in beans. It should be taken carefully as overdose or taken in large quantity can be harmful for health.  
Chili powder is another Mexican spice that is used frequently in the Mexican food. In fact, it is a mixture of various different chilies and spices. It is used for flavoring salsas, meats, vegetables, poultry, etc. Chili powder is major ingredient used in several Mexican sweet dishes and treats. Dried and smoked jalapeo peppers are consumed to make chipotle chili powder. It adds a unique taste to different Mexican dishes. Ancho chili tastes fruity and sweet so it is used in different sweet dishes. Food lovers can use pasilla chile powder or green chili powder to get desired flavor.  
Another popular Mexican spices are oregano, coriander and cumin. Coriander is very spicy so it is commonly consumed in different Mexican recipes. Cumin is a dry seed that is used for making chili powder and different curry powders. Recado rojo is a mixture of Mexican spices that is being in use from ancient times. This mixture contains different spices like clove, cumin, oregano garlic, clove, cinnamon and more.  
Food lovers can try these Mexican spices that are easily available to add a unique taste to their recipe. They can even make a blend of their own Mexican spices. Salt and paprika can be used along with these Mexican spices to get a sensational burst of unique flavors. This can be used for foods to be baked, barbequed and broiled. These Mexican spices can be great addition to your cuisine for experimenting different recipes.
